Vaults

Vaults are not required by any law, but may be required under cemtery rules and regulations. Only then can a cemetery require a permanent grave liner. It is your option to upgrade to a protective vault if you wish.

Markers and Monuments

Lot location is determined by the type of headstone desired.

HeritageMemorial Park is divided into large sections. Each section has rulesthat govern the type of memorial that can be placed on the burialproperty. You will see some very personal and unique memorials atHeritage, but they fall into three major categories:

Monument -Traditionally families will choose an upright memorial for their lotwhich bears the family name. Individual names and dates can also beinscribed on the monument.

Pillow - Some cemeteries allow peopleto choose an individual or companion stone that is slightly raised (6 -8" in the back) called a pillow or bevel marker to memorialize theburial.

Lawn-Level - There are a few sections at Heritage that permit only lawn-level (flat) markers.
